Hike through Fushimi Inari torii gates before 7:00 AM
The thousands of vermillion torii gates wind up Mount Inari 24 hours a day with free admission. Arrive before 7:00 AM to hear morning birdsong echoing through empty tunnels. Most tourists turn back at Yotsutsuji intersection, so continuing higher rewards you with total solitude.
