Watch surfers ride the standing river wave at Eisbachwelle

At the southern entrance of the English Garden next to the Haus der Kunst museum, a powerful artificial standing river wave rushes year-round. Wetsuit-clad surfers line up on both riverbanks to take turns carving the cold continuous wave.
